Dr. Orhan is currently Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Gazi University, Ankara, Turkey (2016 - continues). She got her Ph. D. (Pharmacognosy) from the Department of Pharmacognosy, Faculty of Pharmacy, Gazi University, Ankara, Türkiye (1999-2002). Previously was Dean of Faculty of Pharmacy, Eastern Mediterranean University, Gazimagosa, The Northern Cyprus (2011-2014). She is Chair- Deans Council of Pharmacy Faculties in Türkiye. Principal Member - Turkish Academy of Sciences (TÜBA). Fellow - Islamic World Academy of Sciences (IAS).
